Natural Mould

Glenmore Park, NSW:

Nestled in a whisper quiet street on a bushland frontage block in Sydney’s Outer West, this inviting front yard is a wonderful and spacious upgrade to the client’s double brick home. With an easy flowing layout over two levels, the design was shaped with a relaxed formal theme.  Windows and the main entrance were framed carefully with a garden which includes a display of textures, natural stone and planting to supplement the immediate bushland. A natural stone-clad retaining wall holds spilling forms of plants and sculptural natives. Thin stone is used as an edge treatment to the new driveway continuing to the upper level where honeycomb cobbles border the warm travertine at the front door. Discreet functionality is spread throughout with a sculptural timber piece serving as a seat and the mailbox integrated into timber posts with lighting and other utility lines hidden within garden beds.
